Charity Fundraiser
A substantial charity foundation were planning their annual fundraising Dinner and Awards evening in Malta. As their Virtual Assistant, I supported the organisation of the event. From attending meetings to establish roles and responsibilities; undertaking site visits; contacting Sponsors; documenting expenditure; invoiced ticket sales; reconciled accounts; booked flights and travel; and distributed auction items after the event. We succeeded in working as part of a team to plan and manage a successful event for 250 guests, that raised over €26k for a variety of charities.
